Faiview is a unique, antique furnished, Cape Georgian homestead first registered in 1864 - in those days a farm on the outskirts of George , but today centrally situated in the Eastern side of town. Beautiful flower, vegetable and herb gardens – we even have a small orchard and keep our own chickens. Country comes to town...   The Benkensteins  opened  their graceful Cape Georgian homestead for the enjoyment of visitors in 1997.  Desmond is the creative force behind the glorious gardens and Philda runs the Guesthouse. The kitchen with it's open hearth and bakoond  is also her domain.  Wooden floors, brass and iron four-poster beds from a bygone era, antique furniture and working fireplaces lend warmth and character to the spacious high-ceilinged rooms.
